Annual pay converted to shorter periods

Method and inputs

Enter gross annual pay and your usual weekly hours and working days. Monthly pay is annual pay ÷ 12; weekly pay is annual pay ÷ 52. Daily and hourly equivalents use 52 × days per week and 52 × hours per week.

Worked example

An annual salary of 52,000 with 40 hours and five days per week equals 4,333.33 monthly, 1,000 weekly, 200 daily and 25 hourly. These are annualized equivalents, not a payroll calendar.

Limits and common mistakes

Tax, pension deductions, bonuses and overtime are excluded. The 52-week assumption includes the annual salary across the whole year; unpaid leave and variable hours need separate treatment. Currency symbols do not convert currencies.

Is this take-home pay?

No. It converts gross salary between time periods. Actual net pay depends on your jurisdiction, deductions and payroll rules.
